Philadelphia Union v Portland Charity Tailgate for Miles for MJ

Sect: 133 and Kildare's Irish Pub in Manayunk are teaming up to raise money for Team Miles for MJ.

As a part of the Children's Tumor Foundation, we want to raise awareness and to raise money to help fund research in the hope of finding a cure for Neurofibromatosis (NF).

NF is a progressive disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. Complications from NF can lead to deafness, blindness, learning disabilities, bone abnormalities, cancer, and other serious complications. NF is more prevalent than cystic fibrosis, Duchene muscular dystrophy, and Huntington's Disease combined.

Research funded by the Children's Tumor Foundation is shedding new light on the many complications of the disorder, ultimately benefiting the broader community, in addition to those like MJ living with NF.

The event will include back to back live bands with The Beta Phase and recently voted Americas Best Irish Band, Jamison, as well as DJ So Crates

Alcohol will be BYOB but food will be provided for all by Kildare's. Food items will include Beer Brats, Jameson Whiskey Wings, Pulled Pork and various other items.

Cost is $20 and at least 50% of proceeds will be donated back to Charity

Buses will be running from Kildare's West Chester and Kildare's Manayunk for $20 return with buses leaving at 1.30pm from each location.
